How to transfer your .it domain from GoDaddy
To transfer a .it domain you need to:
- Log into your GoDaddy Control Panel and click on "Domains"
- Go to the tab Domain Setup -> Block, and click on Manage. If the block is active, the domain cannot be transferred. To unblock it, click on Deactivate and save.
- An alert will inform you to wait 15 minutes before the domain block is deactivated.
- When you see the new status Deactivated, you can start the transfer process. First of all you will have to recover the Auth-Code (Authorisation code) by contacting GoDaddy customer care.
How to transfer your .com, .net, .org, .eu, .info domain from GoDaddy
To transfer a .com, .net, .org, .eu, .info or any other extension you need to:
- Log into your GoDaddy Control Panel and click on 'Domains'.
- Click on Start.
- In the Set up tab, go to the last line called Authorisation code and click on 'Send code via email'.
- You will receive the Auth-Code at the owner email address you indicated at the time of registration.
- To verify or modify the address before starting your request, click on Contacts in the domain management area and modify the owner email address.
